Powdered composition to raise the pH of the pool water.
Used if pH is lower than 7.2.
Bathing water should have a pH in the range of 7.0-7.4. So far,
balanced the greatest effect of chlorine products without side
effects. The PH value is therefore checked at least 2x per
week and immediately regulate deviations from the ideal value
(mainly a check is needed before adding chlorine preparations).
The pH value above 7.6 can cause milky water (precipitation of
calcium), reduced effectiveness of chlorine preparations,
chlorine smell, eye and skin irritation and can also lead to
clogging of the filter device.
At pH values ​​below 7.0 can lead to increased corrosion of metal
and concrete, color fading of materials from which it is made
and also the pool for eye and skin irritation.
